Between October 15th and 25th October 2020.
I Shamsa AlMheiri 11 year old Emirati will swim the English Channel (equivalent) 34kms/21miles. I will swim in my pool at home. It will be 2000 laps and I aim to swim 200 laps a day.
This cause is very close to my heart after recently losing my (very young) Granddad to cancer.
Unfortunately we all know someone who has been affected by this terrible illness.
Al Jalila Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to transforming lives through medical research, education and treatment in the UAE
Doing this in honor of my Granddad Mekki Mahmoud Abdulla he changed my world and now I hope to change it too.
Any amount amount of donation is appreciated and thankful for.
Remember one small act of kindness can create a ripple that can spread across the whole world
