EVEREST BASE CAMP 2021 CHALLENGE


Gulf for Good Challengers will be trekking to Everest Base Camp (5380m) to raise funds for children in Nepal from the 29th October to 13th November 2021.

This Challenge will support a charity project in partnership with Child Rescue Nepal. The aim of this project is to prevent child trafficking by increasing the incentive and access to 20 public schools in Nepal through:

- Providing two schools with libraries and learning materials

- Building separate girls and boys school toilets to remove barriers for girls

- Distribute 500 hygiene kits and training

- Distribute 200 educational bursaries to the poorest children

- Deliver teacher training to 24 teachers

Each participant is tasked with raising a minimum of AED5,000 to support this project and, together, change the lives of these children.


Please note that 10% of your donation will go to the International Humanitarian City's emergency preparedness and response work and 15% will go to Gulf for Good’s unrestricted fund to be used at the Board’s discretion.
