6-year-old Maheen suffers from congenital nephrotic syndrome, a rare kidney disease, and needs weekly chronic hemodialysis sessions to manage her life-threatening condition.

Maheen’s mother and father, originally from Pakistan, have lived in the UAE for 13 years where her father is an office clerk in a multi-national company. They do not have the funds required for Maheen’s medical treatment and have appealed to Al Jalila Foundation to help their young daughter.

“We have spent everything on our daughter’s treatment and borrowed from family and friends. Please can you consider our request on humanitarian grounds so that our daughter has a fighting chance against her illness.”
