Hello everyone! My name is Aariz Mohamed Shaik, and I am a year 11 student currently studying in Cambridge International school Dubai. I have always wanted to make a difference and bring out solutions to crisis. Due to The Citizens Foundation, you and I now have an opportunity to change the lives of the unfortunate in Pakistan.

Pakistan is grappled by a devastating  education crisis, with 26.2 million children being out of school, more than half of whom are girls.

The Citizens Foundation (TCF) is a professionally managed, non-profit organization dedicated to bringing learning to marginalized communities in Pakistan. Operating perhaps one of the world’s largest networks of independently run schools—as described by The Economist—TCF has established 2,033 school units across Pakistan's urban and rural areas. With a commitment to gender empowerment, TCF is also the largest private employer of women in Pakistan, employing 14,700 female teachers and principals across its network. Today, TCF educates over 301,000 deserving students nationwide.

With this initiative, even you can help out too! This Summer I have participated in the TCF ambassadors of change program, where I have set up a fundraiser with a donation goal of 20000 AED. It doesn't matter how much you donate, as just 50 AED can support a child for a month, and 600 AED can support a child for one whole year. Let us make as many people as possible aware about this situation so that we can positively change lives of the deserving children in Pakistan.

Nobody deserves getting stripped of education, and It is a necessity for everyone. No matter the rich or the poor, Shouldn't everyone have the right to knowledge?

So, let's spread the word and together bring them to school. Let's Spark the Change.
