Story

Every child deserves a smile! 

Operation Smile is an international medical humanitarian organization that provides free, safe, corrective surgery for children and young adults born with cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial anomalies.

Established in 2011, Operation Smile UAE, began providing surgery to patients in the UAE in 2017. Since then we have provided surgery for over 130 patients from more than 20 nationalities here in the UAE. 

Operation Smile UAE has also funded surgical programs in countries such as Ghana, Egypt, Madagascar, Morocco, Malawi, Ethiopia, Jordan and the Philippines providing more than 4,000 patients with new smiles. 

Since being founded in the USA in 1982, Operation Smile has provided more than 300,000 free surgeries for patients in more than 30 countries worldwide.
