SHARE THE SPARKLE X BACK TO SCHOOL FOR DESS & MALAWI

There is nothing quite like watching a child walk through the school gates with excitement in their eyes, new term, new possibilities, a fresh chance to learn and grow. At the Sparkle Foundation, this is a moment we get to witness across Malawi, and it never stops being exciting.

But that excitement only carries a child so far. Behind every child who returns to school is a foundation of continuous support the same support our own children take for granted every day: a uniform to wear with pride, a meal to keep them focused, a safe place to learn, and a community around them that believes in their future.

This is where our Four Pillars come in — the ongoing work that makes "back to school" possible, not just for one term, but for every term to come:

Sustaining this work across our three sites — and building our fourth — takes continuous partnership. This is where DESS College comes in. Through their fundraising support, DESS College is helping us give Malawi's children the same chance to go to school that our own children have: prepared, supported, and belonging.
