A STARRY MIND - THE BROKEN BEAUTIFUL

A Starry Mind is a sculptural fusion of light and form - a piece that transforms the inner landscape of the ADHD mind into tangible form. Inspired by Vincent van Gogh's Starry Night, it reimagines the swirling sky as a metaphor for thought, emotion, and creative intensity - the sky inside the mind.

The structure rises in fluid, layered motion - its curves looping and folding like racing thoughts that never stand still. Subtle ledges emerge along the flow, capable of holding small personal objects - quiet anchors within the movement. Bands of blue, green, and gold flow together, capturing the vivid, overlapping nature of perception and feeling. The shelves emerge organically from this rhythm, turning function into movement.

At its crown, a round glass light is embedded within the swirl - the radiant "star" of hyperfocus. It symbolizes those rare, luminous moments of clarity that shine through the storm of distraction - when chaos becomes creation and brilliance cuts through the noise.

This piece celebrates the idea of Broken Beautiful: that ADHD is not disorder, but a different kind of brilliance - fragmented yet full of light. A Starry Mind stands as both sculpture and story, reflecting how beauty often lies not in perfection, but in the way we learn to illuminate our own turbulence.

Crafted from recycled PLA through advanced 3D printing, the piece embraces sustainability as both material and metaphor. The use of recycled bioplastic reclaims waste into form, echoing the concept of transforming perceived "flaws" into strength and beauty. Each printed layer mirrors the layered complexity of the human mind - built patiently, additively, and with care.
