Dar al Ber and other volunteer groups have started an initiative to deliver 1,200 tonnes of food, health, and general hygiene items including 30,000 food kits as part of relief efforts for flood victims in Pakistan. 

The severe rains, floods, and landslides brought on by Pakistan's high monsoon rains this year have affected about 33 million people. Some significant rivers have burst their banks, and dams have overflowed, destroying homes, farms, and vital infrastructure like roads, bridges, schools, hospitals, and public health services in addition to residences and other buildings.
