Hi, I’m Shayan Shaikh, a volunteer with The Citizens Foundation (TCF), a non-profit that builds and runs schools for underprivileged children in Pakistan.

I am 14 years old, I currently go to English Language Private School in Dubai and I love football, helping people, and supporting the world.

TCF is all about helping students. It’s a great way to engage and supply education to children. There are almost 26.2 million children in Pakistan who can’t afford going to school, which is where TCF helps. They make schools where individuals have to pay a really small fee. But thats where you come in, your donations can help educate a student. I’m currently part of their summer programme, working to raise funds for TCF’s schools.

50 AED = 1 month of a child’s education.

600 = 1 Full School year of a child’s education.

I’m passionate and motivated to create a fundraiser for schools in Pakistan because I believe that every child deserves a chance to learn, grow, and dream regardless of where they are born. Education is not just a basic right, it’s the foundation for breaking the cycle of poverty and unlocking a brighter future. Seeing how many children in Pakistan still lack access to quality schools and learning resources pushes me to take action. I want to be part of the solution by helping raise funds that can build classrooms, provide supplies, and support teachers, because even small efforts can change lives and strengthen entire communities.
