The 1 Billion Meals initiative aims to bring the community together and foster a culture of giving in order to raise funds for the distribution of One Billion Meals.
Individuals, schools and business communities are encouraged to launch their own fundraising campaigns in order to reach and achieve a greater impact.
In this holy month of Ramadan, EDACOM Owners Association Management in coordination with RERA, calls out to all the owners / residents in its managed portfolio to be part of the largest humanitarian initiative in the region.
Your participation in this campaign will contribute to the overall impact of the 1 Billion Meals initiative, which aims to reach and touch the hearts of needy people in 50 countries around the world.
About One Billion Meals
The One Billion Meals campaign is an expansion of the UAE’s previous Ramadan campaigns “100 Million Meals” and “10 Million Meals”, organized under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai. It reflects his vision to develop a comprehensive humanitarian aid as a major priority.
The campaign is implemented by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), in collaboration with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian & Charity Establishment (MBRCH), the Food Banking Regional Network (FBRN), the UN World Food Programme, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and a number of organizations in the UAE and targeted countries.
