Individuals, schools and business communities are encouraged to launch their own fundraising campaigns in order to reach and achieve a greater impact.
Your participation in this campaign will contribute to the overall impact of the 1 Billion Meals initiative, which aims to reach and touch the hearts of needy people in 50 countries around the world.
About One Billion Meals
The “One Billion Meals” is the biggest humanitarian initiative of its kind in the region. It aims to secure food aid for vulnerable communities in 50 countries around the world. It will provide food support to those in need, representing a grand statement of the UAE’s aspirations in humanitarian aid and firm commitment in developing long-term solutions to improve lives across the world, without any discrimination.
The One Billion Meals campaign is an expansion of the UAE’s previous Ramadan campaigns “100 Million Meals” and “10 Million Meals”, organized under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
IHMA, The Indian Homeopathy Medical Association is one of the prominent organization of qualified homeopathic doctors graduated from recognized Institutions from India. It has more than 10,000 registered doctors and involved in various significant social activities apart from medical practice. The important activities of IHMA is creating social awareness about health, addressing healthcare needs of the public while elevating the quality of healthcare standards through medical education & enrichment programs for the homeopathic doctors.
IHMA UAE is a group of doctors, members of IHMA (affiliated to the mother organization) practicing homeopathic medicine in the United Arab Emirates with the MOH license that had been regulated by tbe Health Authorities (MOH, DHA & HAAD) since 2002. The members of IHMA in UAE have been in various medical educational activities & social causes like voluntary blood donation, medical awareness programs organized by register NGO’s, activities charity to a name a few. For the past few years, the members of the IHMA in UAE have been involved actively in the Iftar kit distribution campaign by volunteering to contribute & distribute Iftar kits to the needy people in different Emirates of UAE. This year too, the doctors have volunteered to be a part of the charity by involving themselves in various programs during Ramadan. It is a matter of great pride for the doctors practicing in UAE to be a part of a very impactful campaign like Billion meals a day projects. IHMA takes great sense of pride & satisfaction by being associated with such a campaign that would help feed a multitude. IHMA UAE wishes the project all the success & promises to be always remain an integral part of this noble mission.
