My name is Youssef Lotfy, I’m a 10th grader at the American School of Dubai.

What I love the most is to play football, so I decided to organize a football tournament to raise money for a charity called The Little Wings Foundation which is supported by the Al Jalila Foundation.

The Little Wings Foundation was founded in 2007 by Dr Marc Sinclair, one of the region’s prominent pediatric orthopedic surgeons, with the mission to provide medical assistance to children in the Middle East and North Africa who have bone deformities.

When I met Dr Sinclair and he asked me why I wanted to do this I answered “I love to play football and I want to help the Palestinians”, so when I came across The Little Wings Foundation I thought I have an opportunity to be able to give a Palestinian child the chance to play football. 

 My goal is to raise AED 100,000 which is the cost of one fully paid trip to Palestine for Dr Sinclair and his team to help 25-30 kids play football or any sport one day! 

The tournament will be held on June 10th from 2-7pm at Adhaaf sports center in Al Quoz. If you would like to play please let me know.
