In support of Friends of Cancer Patients (FOCP) – Pink Caravan

Hi, I’m Saiyette, a student of Dubai College, UAE - and I’m raising funds to support cancer-related charities that bring care, comfort, and hope to patients and families every single day.

Cancer has deeply touched my life — my grandmother lost her battle with breast cancer, and witnessing her strength and grace through it all changed me forever. Even during her toughest moments, she remained hopeful and full of love, inspiring everyone around her. Losing her was heartbreaking, but her courage continues to guide me every day.

Since then, I’ve felt a strong calling to make a difference. Along with participating in cancer awareness initiatives, I’ve donated my hair several times to the Friends of Cancer Patients’ “Locks of Hope” Program, which provides wigs to children fighting cancer. Each act of giving reminds me that compassion — no matter how small — can bring light into someone’s darkest moments.

Through “For Her, For Hope”, my YallaGive campaign, I’m supporting Friends of Cancer Patients (FOCP) and their Pink Caravan initiative — a nationwide campaign every October that raises awareness on the importance of early detection and provides free breast cancer screenings across all 7 Emirates.
