The people of Syria are facing their greatest test. Quakes in the night of Monday 6th February have deprived many of their loved ones and what little they had with which to survive. The people of Syria need help now. This campaign will support the provision of life-saving essentials and help people piece their lives back together.
The ICRC has been providing life-saving support to Syrians since 1967. We are one of the few humanitarian organizations operating on the Syrian side in response to the conflict and now the earthquakes. We are helping people across the country obtain emergency relief, essential services, and livelihood support and are today scaling up our support to people in northern Syria who have been devastated by the earthquake.
Donations to the ICRC will be used to support our humanitarian activities in Syria to help people affected by armed conflict including emergency relief, livelihood support, provision of essential services, as well as additional activities in response to the consequences of 6 February earthquakes.
