Emelie was born in Antipolo, Rizal from a simple Filipino household. She was the eldest of 9 siblings. She spent most of her childhood on Valenzuela then she studied in Manila to pursue college while working to support her education. She then went on to work there before settling down in Bulacan after her marriage in which she was blessed with 4 children.
On March 2019, a devastating news was brought upon her family, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Through many trials and an operation, she was able to beat cancer through the support of her family and the people from Pink Caravan. She is really grateful to the foundation as it was a huge help in her medical needs.
She holds that the challenges God has given us has a purpose which would make us stronger. In these trying times, she wants to encourage people to stay strong and have faith because she believes that difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations.
