Majlis Al Amal by Al Jalila Foundation has become a sanctuary and a “home away from home” for women facing cancer. It is a place where courage, compassion, and hope flourish, creating a supportive environment that uplifts and empowers everyone involved in the cancer journey.

My Kilimanjaro World Record Challenge

As part of this fundraising initiative, I am taking on a personal endurance challenge on Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. I will attempt to set a Fastest Known Time (FKT) / world-record-level challenge by running from the base of Kilimanjaro to the summit and back down, pushing the limits of endurance in one of the world’s most demanding environments.

This challenge is about more than a personal achievement. I am using this journey to raise funds for Al Jalila Foundation to help women facing cancer who may not have the financial means to access the treatment they desperately need.

Every kilometre I run will carry a message of courage, resilience and hope — and I hope to turn this personal challenge into an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of women and families affected by cancer.
