My name is Michael, and I've been apart of the Omnicom Media Group family for almost six years now. Throughout my time here, I've witnessed and admired our collective commitment to giving back through various charity initiatives. This year, I'm excited to announce that I'll be participating in one of Omnicom's charity challenges for the first time.
Omnicom Media Group MENA will be trekking in Uganda and Rwanda to raise funds for the MSF reconstructive surgery hospital in Amman. While the physical demands are daunting, especially for a city dweller like myself who's more accustomed to the city life, the cause we're supporting is what truly propels me forward. The Reconstructive Surgery Programme (RSP) was established in 2006 to treat victims of war and violence with complicated injuries - primarily from Palestine, Iraq, Yemen and Syria. The hospital is unique in that it offers orthopedic, plastic and maxillofacial surgery, as well as a package of holistic care services to ensure that people make a full physical and mental recovery.
I've always been passionate about supporting meaningful causes in my personal time, but this challenge holds a special place in my heart. MSF's work in regions close to my heart, such as Lebanon, Syria, and most recently Gaza, is nothing short of admirable. These efforts resonate deeply with me, and I'm honored to contribute to such a vital cause.
Join me in supporting MSF's life-saving mission. Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in the lives of those who need it most. Let's come together to give back and help MSF continue their invaluable work.
Thank you so much for your support!
