I'm not new to fundraising and challenging myself beyond my comfort zone - my first charity challenge with Omnicom Media Group was in 2016 when we cycled from Vietnam to Cambodia, then 2017 we trekked to Everest Base Camp. An intensive spine surgery kept me away from Mongolia in 2019, as I needed to have bone removed from my spine, half half a rib removed, putting me in ICU for a week and taking more than 6 months to walk properly again. In 2021, we moved again to conquer the Salkantay Trail of Machu Picchu, with a cycle around the Northern Emirates and a 3 day trek to Jebal Jais mixed in.
For the last four years, we have been supporting Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), one of my favourite charities for it's neutrality, advocacy and work in hard-to-reach areas. The work they do around the region in Syria, Lebanon and, most recently, in Gaza has been beyond phenomenal.
Let's support them. Support humanity. Let's do more and do it better.

The Omnicom Media Group MENA team will be trekking in Uganda and Rwanda to raise funds for the MSF reconstructive surgery hospital in Amman.
The Reconstructive Surgery Programme (RSP) was established in 2006 to treat victims of war and violence with complicated injuries - primarily from Palestine ,Iraq, Yemen and Syria. The hospital is unique in that it offers orthopaedic, plastic and maxillofacial surgery, as well as a package of holistic care services to ensure that people make a full physical and mental recovery.
