As we enjoy our morning coffee or share a meal with our loved ones, there exists a parallel world not far from ours where millions of children run—not for sport, but from danger. Children caught in crises across our region, from Gaza and Lebanon to Sudan and Syria, all deserve a dignified childhood free from fear and uncertainty.

When you join UNICEF at the Dubai Marathon 2025, you run on behalf of children who are suffering the brunt of war, who are grieving loved ones, who suffer from preventable diseases and who don’t have access to the most basic necessities like water and food Your participation will serve as a reminder that children matter, wherever they are.

UNICEF teams are on the ground across the region to deliver much-needed assistance, including but not limited to clean water, ready-to-use therapeutic food, shelters, blankets, cash assistance and education to those who need it most.
