Friends of Cancer Patients is a non profit organisation dedicated to help cancer patients and their families through the long journey of cancer treatment. FoCp gives moral and financial support to the families and patients whilst also creating awareness of the disease. Their aim is to minimize the impact of cancer by providing financial support, guidance, and many other types of assistance to needy cancer patients and their families throughout the UAE. They also want to raise awareness across the country on the causes of cancer, methods of prevention, screening, types of treatments and the available support services in the UAE.

Currently there is an increase of cancer diagnosis's in the UAE. As someone who has had close family members who have had cancer, I would like to raise awareness and money for the families of cancer patients hoping that it will make the journey a little bit easier.

I plan to run 100km in a month to raise money because I enjoy running and think that being active is a good way to stay healthy. I have started a YallaGive fundraiser to raise money for the Friends of Cancer Patients and I would appreciate if you could donate some money to the cause.
