Hello! My name is Zoha, a 16-year-old student at GEMS Cambridge, and I’m working alongside my older brother, Abdul Rafay, who is currently pursuing his A Levels at the same school. We’re both incredibly passionate about volunteering and giving back to those in need, and this summer, we’re honored to be ambassadors for The Citizens Foundation (TCF)—a non-profit organization that is transforming education in Pakistan. TCF builds and operates formal schools in the most underserved urban slums and rural areas of the country, giving children a real chance at a brighter future. With over 2,033 school units, more than 301,000 children enrolled, and an all-female teaching faculty of 14,700 women, TCF is not only breaking the cycle of poverty but also empowering women and communities through education. What’s truly incredible is how affordable it is to make a difference: it only takes 50 dirhams to educate a child for an entire month, and just 600 dirhams to support them for a whole year. That’s the cost of one meal or one shopping trip—yet it can change the course of a child’s life forever. Your donation, big or small, can help bring quality education to those who need it most. And if you’re giving Zakat this year, TCF is fully Zakat-eligible, allowing your contribution to serve a powerful spiritual and social purpose.
