We, Aisha and Aizah Hamdan, are fundraising in support of The Citizens Foundation (TCF) to help provide quality education to children in Pakistan.

Education has the power to break the cycle of poverty and open doors to opportunity, and TCF has been transforming lives for decades by building schools in underserved communities and ensuring every child—gets a chance to learn.

This programme is designed to give supporters an opportunity to interact with like-minded, compassionate and altruistic people during this journey and learn the joy of giving back to society.

Pakistan is in the midst of an education crisis with 26.2 million children out of school, more than half of whom are girls.

The Citizens Foundation (TCF) is a professionally managed non-profit organization that builds and operates formal schools in the urban slums and rural areas of Pakistan. The Economist has called The Citizens Foundation (TCF) "perhaps the largest network of independently run schools in the world." TCF has 2,033 school units across Pakistan where children were previously out of school. The Foundation is the largest private employer of women in Pakistan with an all-female faculty of 14,700 teachers and principals. Currently, TCF has an enrolment of 301,000 deserving students.
