I’m Sara, and I’m currently participating in a youth-led initiative with The Citizens Foundation (TCF) — one of Pakistan’s leading non-profits working to provide quality education to underprivileged children across the country. TCF builds and runs schools in underserved communities, focusing especially on enrolling girls, who often face the greatest barriers to education in Pakistan — something that really moved me to take part.

It only costs AED 600 dirhams to sponsor one child’s education for a whole year — that covers books, uniforms, tuition, everything included.

I’m trying to raise AED 14,900 to educate a full classroom of kids for a whole year , and yes — this is zakat-eligible and counts as sadaqah jariyah.
