Hello! My name is Sophiya Karamat and I'm in Year 5. I'm very passionate about education, so when I heard about how TCF helps underprivileged children access the education they deserve, I was really excited to pitch in and help them. My goal is to raise AED 2750 for TCF to help educate even more children than before.

Pakistan is in the midst of an education crisis with 26.2 million children out of school, more than half of whom are girls.

The Citizens Foundation (TCF) is a professionally managed non-profit organization that builds and operates formal schools in the urban slums and rural areas of Pakistan.

Some facts about TCF:

-The Citizens Foundation (TCF) has been described by The Economist as “perhaps the largest network of independently run schools in the world.”

-TCF operates 2,261 school units across Pakistan

-It is the largest private employer of women in Pakistan, with an all-female faculty of 16,500 teachers and principals.

- TCF currently enrolls 320,000 deserving students across the country.
