ABOUT:
Nisa Helpline is a charitable organization founded in 2014 providing toll-free, confidential and non-judgemental counselling and resources to Women from all walks of life. Nisa Helpline has received over 27,000 calls since its launch. It is the only women’s helpline in North America which focuses specifically on the unique struggles that are faced by Muslim Women and aims to empower them with preventative measures to avoid escalation of their hardship.
We work in tandem with partners towards bridging gaps in service and identifying emerging issues or trends relevant to the women we work with. By helping women live a constructive and dignified life, we are building a stronger and more resilient Muslim community.

MISSION AND VISION
The health and vitality of a society is greatly influenced by the condition of its women; they are our daughters, mothers, sisters, grandmothers, aunts, and nieces. Nisa Helpline aims to provide a faith-based, front-line service that confidentially supports Muslim Women facing daily struggles to help them find proactive solutions to achieve a fulfilling life.
GOAL
Our goal is to continue providing the stellar service and to help address the dilemma of abuse, mental illness, addictions among others in our community. Nisa helpline has received over 27,000 calls in it's six years of service and is projected to receive over 7,000 calls in 2020 alone.
