Penny Appeal is a Islamic charitable organization that was established in 2009 with the intention of micro-crowdfunding for poverty relief in Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Their work has focused primarily on offering water solutions, organising mass feedings, supporting orphan care and providing emergency food and medical aid. In the 2017-2018 fundraising cycle alone, Penny Appeal raised and distributed £24.5 million to communities and individuals in need.
Penny Appeal Middle East is registered in Dubai at the International Humanitarian City (IHC) and is the lead on the Orphan Kind campaign.
