I had enough saved up for my masters and in 2018 my step mom got diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I had no option other than helping out and then in 2019 October my Dad had a life threatening surgery for his liver bypass. so during this time i decided to resign my job and go home and take care of my dad because we both brothers i mean me and my younger brother we both were working in Dubai.

I resigned on December 24th 2019 and went back home on 27th and that is when everything changed. Before resigning my job i made sure that i had an offer letter for my masters degree and I was due to go study in Ireland for my MBA in April 2020. So my plan was to make sure my dad recovers from the surgery within couple of months and then do the documentation and apply for visa by March 1st week and fly to Dublin Ireland by April 1st week.

But things didnt go as i planned and before applying for my visa my country went into Covid lockdown on March 22nd 2020. I was very depressed and stressed because i had not thought of a plan B because i was absolutely sure about my plan A. I never could have anticipated this Covid 19 situation and i was stuck in India from then until December 2020 and that is when i decided to do something about my life rather sitting and waiting for the lockdown to lift.

Hence on Jan 1st 2021 i came back to UAE on visit and i struggled for 2 months in finding a job due to covid crisis but i didnt gave up and i fought and fought and now i am working for a mall in Abu Dhabi in Accounts department.

The salary is 75% less compared to what i was earning before so that is when i came across this gofundme website.

I thought if there are people out there who can relate to my story then maybe if they are in a position of helping me... in future when i get to their position maybe i can return the favour.

I decided to come here because all that i had saved for my education i had to give it up for my parents medical needs and my personal needs when i was stuck back home in india for 1 complete year without any job or support.

I only have 1 dream and that is to complete my Masters Degree and get my life back.
