Food People are bringing people ‘Together for Lebanon’

Food People are hosting ‘Together for Lebanon’ – a charity evening in collaboration with Doubletree by Hilton Jumeirah Beach to raise money for those affected by the recent explosions in Lebanon. The event will take place on Tuesday 6th October at Al Maeda Restaurant.

Working with our charity partner Penny Appeal Middle East, we aim to support through the distribution of food, clean water, blankets and medical supplies.

Managing Partner at Food People, Greg Wright states: “We believe it is of utmost importance to help uplift communities in need. What happened in Lebanon was a tragedy and we think it is vital to give back in some way.”

Already facing an economic crisis that has limited access to food and basic supplies, the need is now greater than ever.

Due to limited capacity, the event is sold out with all proceeds going to Penny Appeal Middle East however the donation link will remain live for those still wishing to contribute to the cause through this YallaGive campaign.

Any donation, of any value will make a difference!

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

Penny Appeal Middle East are working rapidly alongside our Penny Appeal global family to mobilise an immediate response to the current explosion in Beirut.

We're also responding to the current economic crisis, distributing much-needed food to starving families as well as COVID-19 testing and hygiene kits. 

$100 will go towards providing all of the emergency relief supplies being delivered to those directly affected by the recent explosion and the current economic crisis.
