Every three minutes, another baby is born with a cleft. While most of them will live healthy lives, thousands will not live to see their fifth birthday due to malnutrition-related causes. In fact, since the year 2000, 46,000 children with clefts under the age of five have died from malnutrition.
I am bringing attention to the deadly effects of clefts and malnutrition. For that, I will be doing the grueling David Goggins Challenge (Running 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours) on the 2nd weekend of March (March 10 to 12), with the aim of raising 5000 AED for Smile Train, the largest cleft-focused organization, to provide 100%-free cleft surgery and other forms of essential cleft care in the UAE.
Join me in supporting the Smile Train charity and help provide life-saving care to children with clefts. Your donation can help change a child's life, one smile at a time. Together, we can give these children the chance to live healthy, productive lives. Please donate now and make a difference.
