In June 2023, Dion and his family received the shocking news that he had been diagnosed with kidney cancer.

Originally from Bangladesh, Dion's parents have lived in Dubai for almost a decade and work hard to support their family. However, the ongoing medical expenses for Dion's treatment are becoming increasingly difficult for them to manage.

The 7-year-old boy loves school and his favourite subject is science. Unfortunately, his weekly chemotherapy sessions prevent him from attending school regularly, leaving him longing to be reunited with his friends and classmates.

Dion's parents hold onto the hope of brighter days ahead. They pray for a future where their son thrives, his laughter echoing through their home once more. Despite the challenges they face with his illness, they remain full of hope and dream of seeing their brave boy healthy, strong and happy again, creating cherished memories with his older brother.
