Two billion people around the world lack access to safe, clean water. Run the Dubai Marathon and provide a community with access to water.

Surge invests in communities in Haiti, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Uganda, with safe water, sanitation, hygiene and menstrual health solutions to help end the cycle of poverty.

Our solutions include wells, springs, rainwater harvesters, filters, toilets, hygiene and menstrual health education. With billions of people lacking access to these basic needs, your contribution funds community led, sustainable initiatives.

Funds raised through the Dubai Marathon will be used in Kaberamaido and Kalaki, remote and rural districts in eastern Uganda.

• AED 40,000 builds a well in a community that does not have access to safe water
• AED 20,000 helps build a school toilet so students can stay in school
• AED 10,000 fixes a broken well in a community
• AED 3,000 provides 12 water filters to provide safe water at 2 schools
• AED 1,000 trains 10 water user committees, providing them the knowledge and tools to maintain their water source
• AED 365 helps teach 25 children soap making or reusable pad making
• AED 100 provides 1 family with a water filter in their home
