Why water?

It is estimated that every 1 in 9 people on the planet do not have access to clean drinking water. Water - a precious commodity that we all tend to take for granted.

Not having access to clean drinking water leads to multiple other social and health challenges. For instance, women and girls are required to walk for hours to contaminated water source to collect water. Consuming impure water is the leading cause for over 50% of our most common diseases.

Why this campaign?

It is my aspiration that, as I turn 14, my friends, family and all of you, bless me by way of making a small contribution towards THE WATER PROJECT, who would use these funds to bring clean drinking water to communities and families in sub-Saharan Africa.
