Almost one quarter of the world's poorest children are not enrolled in primary education. In rural areas of Nepal, this proportion rises to more than half. Poverty and social exclusion remain key barriers to education for hundreds of thousands of children in this area.
The Dubai College Foundation supports the building, repair and maintenance of schools in Nepal.
Our aim is to offer education in a safely constructed property and to offer training and teaching facilities where required to the poorest and most remote communities who would not have had access to this facility otherwise.
Our projects supports boys and girls from Kindergarten through to Year 6 of all ethnicity and castes.
