Why I became an Indus Youth Ambassador

Hello, my name is Ahmed Iqbal and I am from Pakistan. I am a 15 year old living in Dubai that attends Dubai College and I am a Youth Ambassador for Indus Hospital.

I became a Youth Ambassador because I wanted to help make a difference in Pakistan. Many children in Pakistan suffer from many conditions and they are unable to receive quality healthcare.

In order to raise money for this campaign, I will be running 3 km everyday until I either achieve my goal or the campaign ends.

AED 35 helps an ER patient visit

AED 90 gives a patient a chemotherapy session

AED 370 will help with a normal delivery

AED 460 will give someone a below elbow artificial limb 

Every dirham counts towards giving people the high quality healthcare they deserve.

Our Impact: 

Pakistan has a population of over 220 million people. With only 0.6 beds available per 1,000 people and only 11.7 doctors available per 10,000 people, this reflects extreme health inequity within the country. 

Indus Hospital & Health Network aims to curb this healthcare disparity and is serving more than 5.4 million patients every year, with the help of our supporters.  

Meet Muhammad:

Muhammad aspired to be a cricketing superstar. As he was suffering from high-grade fever, his parents sought medical help, only to find out that their young 6-year-old son was suffering from leukemia – Blood Cancer. 

The healthcare treatment provided at Indus Hospital & Health Network rescued him & his dreams.
