At La Carne, we strive to serve the community as more than a meat shop- providing information as well as support to the community such as running for cancer research and putting a spotlight on mental health. This September as we run another cooking class, we would like a portion of ticket sales to go to Lebanon Emergency Relief Efforts. La Carne will be donating the percentage of ticket sales through this page, however those that would like to donate more can make use of this fundraiser page. We hope to reach AED 5,000 by Sept 12 and thank you for your time and support!

Already facing an economic crisis that's limited access to food and basic supplies, the people of Lebanon have been struck by a tragedy - an explosion in Beirut claiming countless lives. Supplies are already limited but the need is now greater than ever.

HOW YOU CAN HELP LEBANON:

Penny Appeal Middle East are working rapidly alongside our Penny Appeal global family to mobilise an immediate response to the current explosion in Beirut. Our teams are distributing food, clean water, blankets, pillows and medical supplies such as gauze, bandages, antiseptic, painkillers and more.

We're also responding to the current economic crisis, distributing much-needed food to starving families as well as COVID-19 testing and hygiene kits.

$100 will go towards providing all of the emergency relief supplies being delivered to those directly affected by the recent explosion and the current economic crisis.
