Launched in 2022 under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qassimi, Wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Sharjah Family and Community Council, the Educate the Heart Competition reflects The Big Heart Foundation’s belief that education shapes both the mind and the heart.

The competition encourages students to develop empathy, compassion, and a sense of social responsibility by taking part in meaningful humanitarian activities. Organized in collaboration with the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) and Sharjah Islamic Affairs, the competition has reached more than 20,000 students, helping raise funds to support education globally.

This year’s theme, “Improving Access to Quality Education,” focuses on supporting the expansion and renovation of a school in Qena, Egypt. The project will provide 750 students with a safe and supportive learning environment, helping improve educational outcomes and reduce school dropout rates, especially among girls.
