Story
My name is Hammad, I’m 16 years old, and I go to The Indian High School in Dubai.
Growing up in the UAE, I’ve had access to good education, supportive teachers, and endless opportunities. But not every child is as lucky as I am. Some children don’t have schools to go to. Some can’t even read their own names.
This summer, I’ve chosen to do something about it.
I’m taking part in The Ambassadors For Change Program to help raise funds for the education of underprivileged children in Pakistan — children who dream just like we do, but whose dreams are too often lost to poverty.
In Pakistan, 26.2 million children are out of school. That number isn’t just a statistic — it’s millions of futures being left behind. Millions of doctors, engineers, artists, teachers… lost to silence.
Why? Not because they lack potential — but because they lack access.
The Citizens Foundation is changing that. TCF builds and runs schools in Pakistan’s poorest communities. These schools are safe, well-equipped, and run by an all-female faculty of over 14,700 dedicated teachers — creating not just opportunities for children, but also empowering women across the country. Today, over 301,000 students are enrolled in TCF schools — each with a chance at a better life.
But they can’t do it alone. That’s why I’m here.
This is not just about charity — it’s about justice. It’s about giving every child the right to learn, to grow, to imagine. For just AED 100, you can support the education of 2 children for a whole month. AED 100 — that’s the price of one meal in Dubai. But for them, it’s the start of something bigger.
I’m asking you — not just as a donor, but as a believer in change — to help me bring education to the children who need it most. Whether it's AED 10 or AED 1000, every dirham counts. Every donation is a seed of hope.
Together, we can rewrite someone’s future.
Be the reason a child goes to school.
Be the change.
