Hi there! It's Zahra & Reza,
We are students in Dubai who participated in the Student Summer Training Program at Indus in Karachi. What we saw and learned truly opened our eyes and humbled us. We have left feeling like we want to do more for the world.
There were many times during this experience that touched our hearts. Whilst interacting with patients at the Paediatric Oncology Department, one child undergoing cancer treatment said that his dream is to own two goats. That simple, innocent wish reminded us how different, yet equal, we all are. We need to give them the chance to achieve their dreams.
'Why should I donate?'
"Health is a right, Not a privilege." Your donation can provide that shimmer of hope for these patients. The majority of people in Pakistan were born below the poverty line and of course it wasn't their choice. It is without a doubt our responsibility to look after them because we are all equal and should treat each other with love and fairness.
What has IHHN already done?
Indus Hospital and Health Network (IHHN) is a well established healthcare organisation based in Pakistan with one clear mission: to provide completely free, quality healthcare. It runs entirely on donations and needs ongoing support to maintain its high standards of care. In 2023–2024, IHHN treated over 6 million patients and now operates 100+ primary healthcare centres across rural Pakistan, along with several secondary and tertiary hospitals.
"Let your kindness be their cure."
