Story

My name is Mahad Ehsan Choudhry.

I am 14 years old and in the 10th grade.

In the year of 2022, Pakistan was hit with devastatingly heavy floods which resulted in one-third of the country underwater!

Millions of people have either been caved in or evicted by the water.

People are utilizing everything they can salvage from the floods . It is truly a tragic moment.

17,000 people have, unfortunately, died to the floods

13,000,000 people have been displaced

1,000,000 homes have been destroyed

and 150 bridges either collapsed or damaged which prevents from effective evacuation

Charity Will Be A Shade on the Day of Judgment

The Prophet, upon be peace, said: “The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.”

It Is A Good Deed That Never Ends

Muhammad, upon him be peace, said: "When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased)."
