My name is Samiya Saadaat, I am a student of Year 5 at King's School Dubai. I have chosen to support the cause of the Indus Hospital and Health Network by becoming a Youth Ambassador to raise funds for the less privileged children in Pakistan suffering from cancer.
In Pakistan, approximately 8,000 to 12,000 children develop cancer every year, approximately 5,000 get diagnosed and only 1,500 manage to survive after receiving treatment at healthcare facilities. Unfortunately, thousands of children in Pakistan do not have access to basic healthcare facilities therefore violating one of the most basic human rights leading to the devastating loss of young lives.
The Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) is dedicated to providing healthcare facilities totally free of cost providing hope to the deserving children of Pakistan suffering from this painful disease. That is why I have been inspired to support the cause of the IHHN to provide quality healthcare facilities to children who do not have sufficient resources.
With YOUR HELP, together I am sure we can play a part in giving these children the hope of life.
Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) is serving the helpless in Pakistan by saving millions of lives and impacting thousands more. With the help of our supporters, we have been able to provide quality healthcare services - absolutely free of cost - to the vulnerable in Pakistan!
Pakistan has a population of over 220 million people. With only 0.6 beds available per 1,000 people and only 11.7 doctors available per 10,000 people, this reflects extreme health inequity within the country.
Indus Hospital & Health Network aims to curb this healthcare disparity and is serving more than 5.4 million patients every year, with the help of our supporters.
