Hi all. My name is Rayyan Lodhi and I am a student in Year 11 at Jumeirah College. I am working with the Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) in order to raise awareness and funding for their noble cause of providing help and treatment to the countless impoverished people of Pakistan, at no cost at all, allowing millions of people access to the basic right of healthcare that they would not have been able to have if it wasn't for the work of the IHHN. With your help we can help impact the lives of many, giving them all the chance of a better life that they deserve.
Considering that it takes a donation of just 90 dirhams to provide a chemotherapy session to a child suffering from cancer and 370 dirhams to allow a woman to have the necessary medical expertise, cleanliness and safety to deliver her child into the world with a much better start than would otherwise be possible without your help, we can see that every little bit donated helps the cause greatly and can have a huge impact on the lives of these people.
Pakistan has a population of over 220 million people. With only 0.6 beds available per 1,000 people and only 11.7 doctors available per 10,000 people, this reflects extreme health inequity within the country.
Indus Hospital & Health Network aims to curb this healthcare disparity and is serving more than 5.4 million patients every year, with the help of our supporters.
Meet Muhammad:
Muhammad aspired to be a cricketing superstar. As he was suffering from high-grade fever, his parents sought medical help, only to find out that their young 6-year-old son was suffering from leukemia – Blood Cancer.
The healthcare treatment provided at Indus Hospital & Health Network rescued him & his dreams.
