Story
Hello, my name is Ashar Awan, I am ten years old and a youth ambassador for Indus Hospital Network. I want to share an amazing initiative from Pakistan. I was fortunate to visit the Indus hospital in Karachi at the end of 2021 and I saw the remarkable services they are providing to the people in Karachi. For my campaign, I will be swimming the length of the Karachi coastline, approximately 90 kilometres. I want you all to read, share and contribute to the cause!!! Lets save lives!!!
Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) is serving the helpless in Pakistan by saving millions of lives and impacting thousands more. With the help of our supporters, we have been able to provide quality healthcare services - absolutely free of cost - to the vulnerable in Pakistan! This has helped significantly since so many people in Pakistan cannot afford medical services.
Our Impact:
Pakistan has a population of 238 million people. With only 0.6 beds available per 1,000 people and only 11.7 doctors available per 10,000 people, this reflects extreme health inequity within the country. This needs to be improved.
Indus Hospital & Health Network aims to curb this healthcare disparity and is serving more than 5.4 million patients every year, with the help of our supporters. You could save thousands of lives just by donating money to Indus Hospital. Donating even 1 rupee could make a difference to the lives of 238 million people.
Meet Muhammad:
Muhammad aspired to be a cricketing superstar. As he was suffering from high-grade fever, his parents sought medical help, only to find out that their young 6-year-old son was suffering from Leukemia – Blood Cancer. With his parents all in stress, he was rushed to Indus Hospital for immediate treatment.
The healthcare treatment provided at Indus Hospital & Health Network rescued him & his dreams. Click down below to see Muhammad's story. I would like you all to donate to the cause since it could help save lives in Pakistan.
This is Muhammad’s story!
