Hi, my name is Ayaan, I am 15 years old and I have a younger brother, Humayz, who is 13 years old. Together we are participating in Indus Hospital’s fundraiser campaign to support children with cancer in Pakistan.
Cancer in children is curable if diagnosed on time. Every year, over 10000 children are diagnosed with cancer in Pakistan, but treatment is not accessible to everyone. Cancer is a devastating disease which can cause emotional, physical, mental and financial toll on the parents and families, especially those who cannot afford the expensive treatment. The childhood cancer survival rate in developed countries is 80%, but in Pakistan, it is only 35%.
Indus hospital & Health Network is on a determined course to change this. Its peadiatric oncology department provides completely free of charge treatment to children with cancer and with your donations it is possible to provide medical treatment including chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgeries. It will also help cover the cost of basic requirements for those in need, like housing, food and mental health services, which are essential for the wellbeing of cancer patients.
Indus Hospital & Health Network has treated over 12,000 children with cancer – absolutely free of Cost.
My brother and I have set a target of AED10000 for ourselves towards this noble cause. We will highly appreciate your generous contributions in helping us achieve our target and to help us make a difference in raising awareness, supporting and eradicating childhood cancer from Pakistan and giving these children a second chance at life!
