Jacques' Story

In 2022, Jacques Isabelle was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. As he continues his treatment and recovery he has made it his goal to help find a cure and support families impacted by Leukemia. After months of treatment, tests and chemotherapy, Jacques is now a member of a panel in the UAE helping spread awareness of male mental health in cancer patients and advising future hospital projects. 

Our Challenge

In July 2023, a team comprising of Jacques' friends and family will take on the iconic Land's End to John O'Groats cycle challenge (cycling the length of the UK). With over 1,000 miles of undulating cycling, the team of 7 cyclists and 2 support crew will push themselves to achieve this monumental goal over 10 days. Over the coming months we will spend countless hours in the saddle preparing ourselves to complete this challenge, whilst our support team puts in just as much effort ensuring that each stage runs smoothly and successfully.

The overall goal is to make a substantial donation to the Al Jalila foundation, a UAE based, not for profit organisation whose mission it is to transform lives through medical research, education and treatment.
