يداً بيد نعمل على دعم مبادرة «مليار وجبة»، والّتي تُنظّمها مؤسّسة «مبادرات محمّد بن راشد آل مكتوم العالميّة» لمساندة جهود تحدّي الجوع وسوء التغذية في العالم في 50 دولة، ونحن في «مدرسة مردف الأمريكيّة» يسُرُّنا أن نُساهم في دعم هذه الحملة المباركة التي تُرسّخ قيم البذل والعطاء وتدعم مبادرات الخير الّتي يقودها صاحب السّمو الشّيخ محمّد بن راشد آل مكتوم، ولا شكّ أنّ موسم رمضان هو ميدان للتّنافس في مثل هذا الخير والمعروف، ولنتذكّر قول الله تعالى (وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوا لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ اللَّهِ هُوَ خَيْرًا وَأَعْظَمَ أَجْرًا) ولنتأمّل في قول نبيّ الرّحمة: (أيُّها الناسُ أفشوا السلامَ وأطعِموا الطعامَ وصِلُوا الأرحامَ وصَلُّوا بالليلِ والناسُ نيامٌ تدخلوا الجنةَ بسلامٍ ) . شكراً لكلّ من سيُشارك ويدعم ويقدّم ويبذل. هكذا عرفناكم وهكذا أنتم مشاعل نور في ميادين العطاء، فلله دركم وعلى الله أجركم

Hand in hand we are working to support the “One Billion Meals” initiative, which is organized by the “Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives” to support efforts to challenge hunger and malnutrition in the world in 50 countries. We at Mirdif American School are pleased to contribute to supporting this blessed campaign which consolidates the values of giving and supports the charitable initiatives led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. There is no doubt that Ramadan season is an arena for competing in such a virtue and let us remember the words of Allah Almighty (and whatever good you offer for yourselves, you will find it with Allah in greater reward). Let us also reflect on the words of the Prophet of Mercy: (O people, spread peace, and donate food; you will enter Paradise in peace) Thank you for supporting this generous initiative.
