Story

Pakistan Urgent Flood Relief

The Emirates Red Crescent has launched an urgent relief initiative to support the people of Pakistan who have become victims of flash floods recently. As of September 8th, The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) reported 12,700 injuries and nearly 1,400 fatalities. Additionally, although the number of displaced people is substantially higher there are more than 33 million affected and over 660,000 people living in relief camps.

Over One-third of Pakistan is underwater.

The Emirates Red Crescent aims to assemble urgent relief kits for families affected by the devastating torrential monsoon rains and floods in Pakistan. They need your help to raise funds to provide for the huge number of people affected.
