Palm Tree Endowment - A Sadaqah Jariyah that Lasts Over 80 Years
The Palm Tree Endowment project by Life Makers offers you a sustainable Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity) that lasts for over 80 years, continuously growing in value and impact on the lives of beneficiaries and patients in need. The project aims to plant 2,100 acres of palm trees in the Dakhla and Farafra oases in the New Valley Governorate of Egypt. This initiative provides a lasting source of support for the various and ongoing activities of the foundation, such as caring for kidney failure patients by offering free dialysis sessions, performing surgeries, sponsoring orphans, providing clean water, paying off debts for those in need, and many other activities that benefit over a million people across Egypt.
Why a Palm Tree Endowment?
Palm trees are among the most strategic and vital trees in Egypt and the Middle East. We plan to plant 100,000 palm trees of the finest dates (Siwi, Barhi, Medjool) across 2,100 acres. Palm cultivation is sustainable because each tree can produce more than 8 new saplings that are replanted, ensuring that your charity continues to grow and multiply for decades.
By contributing to the Palm Tree Endowment project, you will directly help save the lives of kidney failure patients. Life Makers operates three centers offering free dialysis sessions. To maintain these services for underprivileged patients, we require substantial funding to ensure a continuous supply of medications, equipment, and other operational needs. Your donation to the Palm Tree Endowment will provide a reliable, annual income that ensures the continued operation of these centers and their services to patients in need.
How to Contribute?
Donate to cover the cost of one or more palm trees, with each tree costing 4,500 EGP.
Note
After your donation, we will contact you to confirm the name you wish to dedicate to the tree as an ongoing charity. We will create a personalized plaque with your name and a unique code to place on the tree. You will also receive photos of the tree after it has been planted.
