The New Year Challenge V.1 is a challenge in the new year to encourage physical fitness through adventure tourism in the UAE and raise funds for charity by Nasar Husain

This New year's Challenge V.1 involves two days, One fitness and adventure enthusiast, and three mountains to be conquered for two purposes: to raise funds for Al Jalila Foundation's pediatric program "Farah" which supports the treatment of children and to promote physical activity and mental health through adventure sports.

Nasar Hussain is taking up this challenge by climbing the two highest mountains in two days for two causes, Nasar is a Triathlete, Climbing and Running Instructor, nature lover, and entrepreneur.

Nasar's goal is to make sick children smile by raising as much funds as possible, enjoy the beauty of the UAE and discover his better self by pushing himself. Thank you for your support and contribution to this project.

Success Story 

He made it successfully, he climbed three 1500+ meter mountains in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE Jebel Yabaneh 1525 meters, Jebel Jais (highest point) 1934 Meters, and Jebel Rahabah 1545 meters in 17 hours moving time that total of 66.32 km in the distance and a total time of took 25 hours with 5110 meters elevation gain. It ended on Tuesday, January 31, at 9:15 pm in the 12-degree freezing cold with a blast of supporters.

The hike started a cold dark Monday, January 30, at 7 am with Sayed, one of the enthusiastic hikers. We started in the rest area near Wadi Bih roundabout, all the way in his own trail up to the rocky mountain. 5km further one way Sayed came back down to the starting point to show tremendous support in this challenge. His journey was a long shot and he can recall vividly how he jumped from edge to edge and run from wadi to mountain to complete the plan in a limited time carrying his gears.

He realized that aside from the beauty, the mountains are covered with riddles and charms, so it's indefinable. He never thought that moment when he dealt that something crept into his nerve endings while passing through one wadi. He was familiar with the place and it is indescribable when he hiking alone near dawn valley. Through his outdoor experiences physically and mentally, he had mastered a lot of aspects but this trek brought him braver, confidence, and gratitude that he owes to those who believe in him.

He is forever grateful for all the opportunities that come his way and you all guys are part of this. Half part of this project is done and the challenge continues until February 28. Let's raise funds for 'Farah' Al Jalila Foundation’s pediatric program which provides life-saving treatment, funds cutting-edge research, and offers hope to countless children and their families. Your support means a lot, once again sincerely thank you all for this Challenge. He did his part now he is waiting to fulfill his dream to support the kids.
