The Pink Pioneers are a team of women who are honored to raise funds for Friends of Cancer Patients (FCOP), a charity partner of Battle Cancer who have demonstrated their incredible commitment to promote cancer awareness through sport and fundraise for charities worldwide.

We each have been touched by journeying with someone close to us in this battle.

Gaynor has walked this path with both her parents and continues to walk this path professionally. Working in rehabilitation comes with the opportunity to play a role in serving those following a diagnosis by restoring hope for regaining a sense of self & independence.

Catt's personal journey sadly includes the sudden loss of a good friend and her father to pancreatic cancer. Although devastating for her and family, she continues to actively promote awareness and the importance of early detection by regular screening to those around her.

Lana and Sue journeys have enabled them to be active in promoting the importance of health and wellbeing to families, colleagues and friends, which is keeping with the heart of FOCP's values and vision to see a world where cancer no longer has power over our lives.

This is dedicated to those who have lost, who continue to fight, for those who are in remission.......Together we will Battle Cancer!!
