World Cancer Day takes place on 4 February every year. The day aims to raise awareness, fundraise and  inspiring action to reduce the devastating impact that cancer has on the world. It’s an important day for everyone to come together to raise awareness of the issues surrounding cancer and how it affects everyone’s lives. World Cancer Day is led by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), and Friends of Cancer Patients (FOCP) is proud to support this awareness day.

Theme: UNITED BY UNIQUE

The new world cancer day theme 2025-2027 “united by unique” places people at the centre of care and their stories at the heart of the conversation.

For World Cancer Day we want to highlight that with your support and kind donations last year we were able to support over 400 cancer patients and their families in UAE. There is still a huge need for more treatment and support for all cancers affecting children and young adults.
